July Favorites

July has been a pretty busy month for me, which explains the silence on my social media accounts, my YouTube channel (huhu), and my blog. I've felt extremely uninspired because Jorge and I's room became extremely small and cluttered that I couldn't get my mind straight. Now that we've moved into a bigger space, hopefully I can get back to my regular blogging and filming schedules.

I have been using two skincare items non-stop this past month and they're amazing! The Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick is a great facial wash. I am not a fan of rosy scents but for some reason, I find this one very lovely. It has real rose petals in it, which makes the whole cleansing process feel luxurious. My favorite thing about this product is its ability to really deep cleanse the pores. I've noticed that my blackheads are easier to extract after using this product, leaving my skin very clean.

Manyo Factory's Galactomyces Niacin Special Treatment Essence is amazeballs! This has improved my overall skin texture. It made my skin soft and supple and sometimes, I don't even feel the need to use a moisturizer. This product can feel a little bit oily though, so I wouldn't recommend this to people with extremely oily skin. I have combination skin so I focus this around my face rather than on my nose area. This product is unscented and I really love its dropper-type packaging. I received both of these products c/o Memebox. :)

If you're a YouTuber or blogger who does lip swatch videos/posts, you need this in your life: Promise Organic Nourishing Coconut Facial Towelettes with Chamomile. This is great to use on the lips because it doesn't taste like poison! It removes makeup like a dream, and it's very gentle on the skin. One night, when I wasn't able to use the bathroom to cleanse my face, I used this to remove my makeup and I didn't have to wash my face after because my skin felt extremely clean and soft without the sticky feeling.

I didn't think I'd own a Beautyblender but I did because sometimes you gotta treat yo'self ya know? I'm not saying it's my holy grail beauty sponge, because it's ridiculously expensive, but it's been great this past month. I want to buy a Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge again just to test them both out so I can do a comparison. Then maybe I can let you guys know whether I'm a Beautyblender girl or an RT girl, because from what I've seen online, you're either one of those. Can't be a fan of both haha.

Last month, I kind of went #metallips crazy. I got two metallic lipstick shades from ColourPop and the one I wore a lot was Maneater. I'm not a fan of the name, but I love the color and how it looks on my lips! I filmed a tutorial using this lipstick and it should be out this coming week!

One of my favorites this past month is my new pair of glasses from Glasses Shop! I love using it when I know I'll be working on my computer for a long period of time, and on days when I don't wear makeup. Use code GSHOT50 for 50% off your first pair + free lenses!

I finally got myself my own hard drive! I love how it's white and just super pretty! 😍

I got this cute red dress for our LUAU Night in June and I'm not sure why I forgot to mention it in my last favorites post! I love off-the-shoulder tops and dresses so when I found this at H&M, I had to get it. Guess how much I got it for? 4 freaking dollars! I was sooo surprised! I didn't know it was on sale when I picked it up haha. Gotta love awesome deals! 👍🏻

SHOP SOME ITEMS MENTIONED IN THIS POST:

Last month, we had our first Ascend Young Adult Worship Night and it was really amazing to see a group of young adults come together to sing praises to our Father. I filmed the event, Jorge edited the footage I got, and it came out a lot better than what I expected. I was kind of proud of myself. Hihi.

I loved two TV shows last month.
I know this won't come as a surprise to you because it's all over the internet. Everybody is raving about this show and I'm one of the many who loved it! I'm talking about Stranger Things. I love everything about it! From the storyline, the soundtrack, the actors, and definitely the cinematography! I LOVE IT!!! If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend it! Netflix, you da bomb!

The second show I loved is Toradora!. Okay, it's an anime, and yes, I still am a kid when it comes to watching shows, but Tora Dora was such a cute anime series! It's funny, romantic, and it tackles everyday issues of normal high school students! It reminded me of when I was in high school. If you are an anime lover, this is a show you should watch. 👍🏻

Last but definitely not least, our new car and our new place! I don't have pictures of our car because Jorge wants us to take pictures of it when we drive to Ohio, and I will do a home tour once everything's organized. We still need to get a lot of things so I'm really looking forward to an IKEA trip!

How was your July folks? Anything good to share? Talk to me in the comment section below. Also, how do you organize your time? I need some help! 😂
