Lush's Ayesha Fresh Face Mask REVIEW

Ayesha Mask Review

I'm not exactly sure what pushed me to research further about skin tightening masks. I guess at some point, I realized that my pore minimizing balms/primers just don't cut it for me anymore. I mean, yes, they definitely help make my face look so much smoother, but at the end of the day, I'm left with still very visible pores. I also experience oiliness around my T-zone area and I've read that one good way to combat both the oiliness and the large pores is to use a mask. I knew I needed extra help so my quest for the perfect mask began and I ended up going back to the brand Lush, since I was so impressed with their Angels on Bare Skin cleanser. I did a little bit of research on their website and read a ton of reviews and the product that stood out to me the most, in terms of oil control and pore minimizing is the Ayesha Fresh Face Mask

Like any other Lush product, the Ayesha mask contains all natural and fresh ingredients and their featured ingredient is Kiwi.

Ayesha is a blend of tightening and toning ingredients to refresh tired-looking skin. We use vitamin C-rich kiwi to brighten dull spots, asparagus to nourish and absorb excess oils and honey for hydrating and soothing red areas. This fresh mask is named after the fictional priestess who discovered the secret to immortality - ten minutes with it on and you’ll see why! Dull, tired and mature skin transforms for a bright, youthful glow.

Ayesha How To Mask

What I love about this is how refreshing it feels on the face! It not only removes excess dirt in my pores, I also noticed that it does minimize my pores. I see results right after I rinse it off. As for the oil control part of it, I noticed that it lessened the oil production on my cheeks and forehead, but God knows nothing can help my nose oils. 😭 A lot of people are not a fan of the smell of this mask, but to me, it smells nice. The way I can describe the smell is like it really smells organic and it's like you're applying mashed fruits and veggies on your face. You'll have to try it for yourself! You'll understand what I'm saying. 😂 At first I thought this mask caused me to break out but I was wrong. I experimented and tried it out again and I discovered that the cause of my breakouts were Jorge's lips (from kissing my cheek so much) and my lack of sleep!

Here are some photos of my face!

AFTER:

I'm not sure if you can tell, but my pores are cleaner and tighter. I like to apply this twice a week and initially, I didn't think the little tub would last me two weeks! I still have a decent amount left and I think for $7.95, it was worth trying out.

Will I repurchase this? Absolutely! Unfortunately, you can't get this online because it has to be refrigerated. You can only get this mask at a Lush outlet and be sure to ask one of the staff for it. Lush stores can be pretty intimidating at first but with a little help from their staff, you'll find whatever you're looking for.

Have you tried any Lush product? If so, which one is your favorite and why? If you haven't yet, which one would you like to try out first? Lush is very famous for their bath bombs, and to be honest, I don't think it's worth the hype. 😂 But their skincare items are pretty dang good so I still highly suggest that you visit a Lush store near you and try out at least one of their products! You can always do your research on their website first so you know what to get when you go to a store! Lush is all organic and does not test on animals. They even FIGHT against animal testing so that's pretty amazing!
