Thrift Store Diaries: Blue Boho Maxi Skirt

There's a new FASHION series on Explore with Corinth! WOOT WOOT!

I decided to create THRIFT STORE DIARIES because I've only really shopped in thrift stores these past few months, and I want to document these pretty pieces here on the blog! I don't know about you, but I love saving money on clothes, and if I find hidden gems in thrift stores, best believe that I'm gonna show them off. So without further ado, let's get on with my first featured piece!

THRIFT STORE DIARIES

ft. Blue Boho Maxi Skirt

My friends and I went thrift shopping a few months ago, and one of our stops that day was Goodwill. It's a famous thrift store here in the US and I love how it's no different from the Ukay-ukays back home. I even think that the thrift stores in Manila are way better than here, but that's just me. Anyway, I saw this skirt and it's one of those "is it pretty or is it ugly" type thing. I asked my friend Angela if I should get it, and she said yes. I thought to myself then that I will be able to use it a lot because summer is just around the corner! Boy was I right, and I cannot wait to wear it more often.

I love how long the skirt is that I'm able to wear it high-waisted. Because the skirt is already so bold and beautiful with its bright blue color and awesome pattern, I paired it with a simple white top that Jorge's mom gave me for my birthday 3 years ago. I love that the top has lace detailing in the middle, and because it is gartered in the bottom, I was able to make the top look cropped. I wore my white heels to give the outfit a more sophisticated look, and accessorized with a white hat. But later that day, I changed to my trusty sandals I got from Target.
