Versed Skincare - Is It Worth The Try?

Ever used a skincare product for the first time and knew right then and there that it was love?

That is what I felt about this brand when I used some of the skincare products they gifted me. It was literally love at first use on all the products in my goodie bag. And it also helps that the packaging is so aesthetically pleasing! If you want to read my thoughts on some Versed Skincare, that cute, clean and non-toxic skincare found at Target, just keep reading!

WASH IT OUT GEL CLEANSER

I like to use this as a second step in my skincare routine to remove any excess makeup and oil, especially around the eyes. This gel cleanser cleans the skin very well without stripping moisture. It lathers nicely and because it contains rosewater and mint, this cleanser is nourishing and feels cooling. It’s definitely going to be a staple in my skincare routine.

ON THE RISE FIRMING SERUM

I personally haven’t seen immediate results from using this anti-aging serum, but I’d like to believe that it’s going to help keep fine lines and wrinkles at bay! I’m pushing 30 so I’m gonna need all the help I can get. Filipino genes ain’t gonna cut it. Haha. Feels super lightweight, no scent at all, and absorbs almost instantly into the skin so you gotta work fast. Some key ingredients are Peptides, Vitamin C, Resveratrol (a very powerful anti-aging antioxidant) which neutralizes damaging free radicals and strengthens the skin’s natural defense system. I like to use this in conjunction with their Vitamin C powder.

FOUND THE LIGHT POWDER WITH VITAMIN C

I was introduced to Vitamin C skincare earlier this year but I didn’t know that the most effective way to use Vitamin C is by applying it in powder form because it ensures the freshness of the ingredient so it’s able to serve our skin to its best potential. This product helps brighten dull skin. And because it’s a powder, you can literally mix this into any liquid product in your routine if you need an extra Vitamin C boost!

DEW POINT MOISTURIZING GEL-CREAM

I am obsessed with gel creams because they hydrate our skin without that heavy sticky feeling! This moisturizer is definitely a fave. It contains sodium hyaluronate which helps draw in and retain moisture in skin (like hyaluronic acid), aloe leaf juice to hydrate, and green tea leaf extract to soothe skin.

KEEP IT SUPPLE BODY OIL

I haven’t really been that person who uses body oils because I always just thought that they’re too oily and greasy but this product made ma believer! When they said “Keep It Supple”, they meant it. This body oil keeps my skin extremely soft and yes, you guessed it; supple! It’s a spray so it’s easier to control how much oil you’ll apply on the skin because I think if it was in a regular bottle, I would easily overdo it. It’s lightweight, quick-absorbing and it dries down so it doesn’t feel sticky AT ALL! I know, crazy stuff. It has a subtle scent of white flowers and ylang ylang essential oil which I think smells sexy.

VERSED is non-toxic, cruelty-free, vegan, and they’re pro recycling!

If you want to learn all things VERSED and check all the products that they offer, check out VERSEDSKIN.com! You can now also shop VERSED goodies straight from their site so you don’t always have to go to Target to pick up some cute and effective skincare, and God knows what else you’ll be adding to your shopping cart. Hahaha.

If you’re not sure about which products you want to try first, check out their SKIN DECODER which is basically a skincare quiz that will help you figure out what products are best suitable for your skin needs. It’s so cool! Below are my results and it’s crazy how you can get your “essentials skincare routine” for less than a hundred dollars! You also get free samples and discounts when you purchase online. :)
