The past week has been so stressful and painful for me and my husband Jorge and to this day, we can't really fully fathom why it happened. The way it happened was pretty crazy too and it has emotionally exhausted me to the point that I can't really put into words what happened. This is what I can tell you though, I lost my family here in Canada.
Read MoreI've had yet another one of those very hectic week at work and last night, I actually kind of cried because of my battle wounds. I'm being overly dramatic of course since these "wounds" are only cuts from overusing my hands at work, but still, they hurt man! Being a barista in the Yukon can really be a challenge especially when one of your co-workers just leaves you without a choice, that you end up doing all of her work load because of her broken arm. WEEEE! I know, FUN! I even had to work 9 hours yesterday because I'm such a responsible staff, unlike her. Okay okay, I'm gonna stop complaining about how stressful my life is with work and I'll just start telling you about the good things this week.

It was actually nice to have had that. It's like a diary of some sort but I didn't write any "Dear Diary" or "Love, Corinth" in it. I simply wrote the date, and listed down the things I was thankful for in bullets. My entries were sometimes accompanied with a polaroid picture. I think that little touch was cute.

We've been eating crappy food and we realized that our bank account's starting to starve too so we both agreed to STOP eating burgers, cheesecakes and all that gooooood stuff! It's so hard though, but it's a sacrifice we have to make if we want to keep our wallets fat and at the same time, stay healthy.

Read MoreIf you're following me on Instagram, you probably already know that I created the hashtag #CorinthTheExplorer for my self-portraits. They're the photos I took of myself, by myself, because nobody else was there to take photos of me. I know, sad right, but there's good news! It has helped me enhance my ~*photography*~ skills when it comes to using the self-timer. Using the self-timer is harder than I thought it would be but like any other skill, with practice, I've come to enjoy and love taking self-portraits using the self-timer.
