Makeup Monday: My Current Makeup Wishlist
There are times when we just can't afford to buy the things we want yet and all we do is dream about having them already. I feel this a lot when I watch YouTube videos. Every time I see something new that the makeup "gurus" love, I want to have them too but when I check at their prices, well, #icrey. Huhu. Makeup can get really #espensive!
Today, I'll be sharing with you the 7 makeup products I've been wanting to buy for myself for awhile now. Hopefully, I'll be able to buy at least one of these pretty babies soon. <3
1. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette
First of all, the colors in this palette is gorgeous! It has a mix of shimmer and matte which I really appreciate and the best part of all, this palette smells like chocolate, you'd actually want to eat it! YUM! $62 CAD
2. NARS Audacious Lipstick
I've heard a great deal about these lipsticks and I just want to have even at least one in my collection. They're creamy, very pigmented, the line has a variety of very flattering colors and they are long lasting! $41 CAD
3. MAC 224 Tapered Blending Brush
Anything KathleenLights love, I want to have! And she says that this brush is one of her holy grail eyeshadow brushes and there's no dupe for it! So please Lord, I want this for better eyeshadow looks! <3 I just can't believe that this little brush is worth more than the NARS Lipstick. As Kathleen would say, "DAS ESPENSIVE!" $43 CAD
4. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer
I'm a concealer-needer and I really hate it when my concealers have no match for my dark circles. I've only tried drugstore brands and so far, I haven't really met my "holy grail" one and I guess maybe it's because I've never dipped my fingers inside the high-end pool of makeup! I should probably test new waters and this Bobbi Brown concealer is in my must-grab list. $32 CAD
5. Beautyblender
All I know is that everyone is raving about this little face sponge and I want it! They say that it's a game changer in foundation application because it gives that airbrush finish to your face that is very flattering and pretty. So yeah, shut up and take my money (once I have more #huhu #poorgirlprobz). $23 CAD
6. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
First of all, the tube is pink. I LOVE PINK, and anything pink I need to have! It has a very unique hourglass-shaped brush and I'm very curious to try it. I've seen Zoella use this in one of her makeup looks and my gosh, this made her lashes go from 1 to 100 in just a few coats! Also, I just want to know if this mascara stands up to its name. Haha. $28 CAD
7. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
Like the Too Faced Mascara, the packaging of this palette has a pinky golden color to it, which I really love. This has 12 very pigmented shades ranging from mattes, pearls and foiled shades that are perfect for a variety of makeup look. It comes with a nice eyeshadow brush and a little Eyeshadow Primer Potion from the brand itself, which I think is a great product too. Out of all the products mentioned in this post, this one's the most wallet-slayer. $72 CAD
