Make Snack Time Fun Again with This Easy Yogurt Popsicle Recipe

This post is sponsored by Oikos® Whole Milk Greek Yogurt  but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

I’ve never been a snacker. I’ve always been a big eater, which is so NOT what I want to be this year.

This 2019, one of my goals is to make more conscious food choices! Instead of making two pieces of toast for breakfast, I go for one. Instead of helping myself to a second serving of my favorite Filipino dish, I take my plate to the sink. Instead of sipping on some addicting ice cold cola, I drink water. Instead of snacking on dangerously yummy chocolate chip cookies, I indulge on my tasty yogurt popsicles! You see where I’m going with this?

Today, I will be sharing with you how I make my rich and creamy yogurt popsicles! I had so much fun doing this, and they turned out so delicious! PS: They’re so easy to make! If you want to get in on the fun, keep reading! #IndulgeWithOikos

WHAT YOU NEED:

  1. Oikos® Whole Milk Greek Yogurt - Oikos Whole Milk Greek Yogurt is the most delicious brand for this popsicle treat because their yogurt tastes very rich and creamy, almost like ice cream! It’s because their greek yogurt is made with whole milk so they’re very indulgent and they carry a taste that we love! They have a bunch of mouth-watering flavors to choose from, and the ones that I picked out are Slice-of-Heaven Strawberry Cheesecake and Crave-Worthy Key Lime. I love cheesecake, and I just thought that the pink and green look cute as popsicles! You should be able to find these at your local grocery store.

  2. Fruits - sliced strawberries, raspberries, blueberries

  3. Granola (optional)

  4. Popsicle Sticks - you should be able to find this in the arts & crafts section of a store

  5. Silicone Food Tray - I used my daughter’s silicone food tray. Each slot holds 2oz. and with two packages of Oikos Whole Milk Greek Yogurt, I was able to make 5 popsicles.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add your first layer of Oikos Whole Milk Greek Yogurt into the food tray.

  2. Add some sliced fruits and granola.

  3. Top it off with your second layer of yogurt.

  4. Stick your popsicle sticks in the middle. Push it all the way down to the bottom of the tray.

  5. Stick the tray into the freezer and wait 3-4 hours or until completely frozen.

  6. Pop the popsicles out gently and enjoy!

Wasn’t that extremely easy?!

I love that when I get hungry in the middle of the day or night, I could easily grab these treats from our freezer. Even my husband was sooo excited to pop these in his mouth and I may or may not have seen his mouth water! 😂 I have a sweet tooth, and for someone who loves dessert after a meal, these yogurt popsicles definitely satisfy my sweet tooth!

Oikos Whole Milk Greek Yogurt is so yummy to eat in its original form, but it’s so much more fun to enjoy it in popsicle form! Agree? I don’t know about you, but this is now my go-to treat and I’m excited to try out their other flavors!
