If you're still following my blog, I'm sure you've noticed that I completely stopped doing my monthly favorites posts. I decided to stop the blog series because I don't really try out new products often anymore, and I realized that I was almost forcing myself to use a bunch of products just to include something new in the posts ⎯ A BIG NO NO, especially for someone who's a creature of habit.

With all of that said, I thought that I would just update you guys every once in a while on my current makeup and skincare favorites, that way I stay true to myself and to you guys. Sounds good? Alrighty!

My First Time at Generation Beauty NYC

When was the last time you did something for the first time?

I really love that question because I think it pushes you out of your comfort zone to do and explore something new! When I received the email invitation to attend Generation Beauty NYC for free, I knew I had to go. Generation Beauty is one of the biggest annual events in the beauty/YouTube community so it was a no-brainer, I immediately rsvp'd and got acquired my tickets. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the Creator Day event and Cocktail Party where I could have hung out with some big YouTubers. Now I know to make it a point to attend those days if I do get invited again next year.
