34 Week Bumpdate

It's been a hot minute since I updated you on the bump. I am nearing the end of my pregnancy road, and it has been an exciting  yet exhausting ride to say the least.

Jorge and I are doing our best to get everything ready for Baby Suarez's arrival, and that's one of the biggest reasons why I've been a little quiet on here. I honestly don't know how the bigger mommy bloggers do it! This past month, I've just felt like a huge cow that can barely move. HAHA. But life is looking good. We had our baby shower, received a bunch of baby gifts, and we also got baby's crib ready! I will be sharing those in another blog post soon, but today, my post will be all about my 34 week bump!

HOW FAR ALONG: 34 Weeks (7.8 Months)

HOW BIG IS BABY: OurLittleSuarez is as big as a butternut squash (17.7 inches, 4.63 lbs.)

MATERNITY CLOTHES: I bought a few dresses from Shein and I was pleasantly surprised with how pretty and flattering they are on my pregnant body even though they're not actual maternity clothes. When I like to look a little bit more put together, I go for my new dresses. If I'm just running errands, I still wear my usual leggings and loose tees. I learned that you don't really need maternity clothes. You just need to find all the loose clothes you have and wear those! Haha.

SLEEP: Sleep is harder now because I legit have a huge stomach. I feel baby girl's movements all the more, and there are times when she'd kick or punch more aggressively than normal. But when I do get to fall asleep, I try to get as much of it as I can. I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy journey, and that means I will be saying goodbye to all this rest. Not looking forward to the fatigue that is upon me, but I cannot deny the fact that I am extremely excited to meet my daughter. HUHU.

MISS ANYTHING: Over-medium eggs! My avocado toasts just don't taste the same with regular scrambled eggs.

MOVEMENT: Baby girl just cannot wait to get out. I can feel her restlessness. :)

CRAVINGS: I don't really get cravings anymore. I just eat whatever. I do try to stay away from meats because heartburns suck!

HOW I'M FEELING: I feel exhausted and heavy. This is the heaviest I've ever been, and my feet and legs are having a painful time adjusting to all this baby weight. I look at myself in the mirror and I see no trace of the body I once had. It's a bittersweet feeling. I'm kind of sad that I will never go back to my original body, but I am so extremely proud and happy that the same body was able to house and keep a little human alive for this long.
