How To Look Like Katherine Pierce This Fall

In case you didn't already know, I love The Vampire Diaries, and it makes me sad that it's about to end! I was pretty upset too when Nina Dobrev left the show because she was basically the star of the show! The whole story revolved around her character, so when she left, I didn't really watch Season 7. But, I re-watched the show from the beginning again, and I can't wait to get caught up!

This outfit is inspired by Katherine Pierce, one of Nina Dobrev's characters! Katherine is a very mean vampire who wore dark pieces with an edge, so I chose to wear an all black ensemble to achieve the Katherine look! And since autumn is just around the corner, this outfit is perfect for the chilly nights to come.

The trick to achieving a nice monochromatic outfit is to mix up different fabric textures! So for this outfit, I wore black denim jeans, a soft cotton v-neck shirt, and a black moto jacket, which is one of Katherine's signature looks. If only I had long hair, I would have curled them too! So, to compensate for the lack of hair length, I made sure my makeup looked dark and smokey! For accessory, I just wore my hat which is so fall appropriate.

Katherine also almost always wore heels in the show so I did the same for this look! I wore these super cute peep toe heels which I got from Alysia on Amazon. The shoes tied the whole look together and I love how the heels created a contrast with the tough look of the moto jacket; the style of the shoes is so feminine, while the moto jacket leans more on the masculine side. It made the outfit sexy, yet dark at the same time, or in other words, vampy!

They came in a nice and sturdy box and the shoes were packed carefully! The shoes are handcrafted so you know they are very well made, and I really adore the rose gold detailing on the lace straps. I also love how these shoes make me look a lot taller, especially when paired with black skinny jeans!

In terms of comfortability, I'll rate it a 6 out of 10. Because you can tighten up the laces to your liking, it makes walking so easy! But the lace straps can be quite painful if you will be on your feet for long periods of time. I suggest wearing these shoes for dinner parties and/or events that don't require a lot of standing and walking.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I really had fun dressing up as a vampire. Until my next outfit post! ✌🏻
