Explore With Corinth: Long Lake

I've had yet another one of those very hectic week at work and last night, I actually kind of cried because of my battle wounds. I'm being overly dramatic of course since these "wounds" are only cuts from overusing my hands at work, but still, they hurt man! Being a barista in the Yukon can really be a challenge especially when one of your co-workers just leaves you without a choice, that you end up doing all of her work load because of her broken arm. WEEEE! I know, FUN! I even had to work 9 hours yesterday because I'm such a responsible staff, unlike her. Okay okay, I'm gonna stop complaining about how stressful my life is with work and I'll just start telling you about the good things this week.

Jorge and I have been talking about starting to live a healthier life this past weekend. We've been eating crappy food and we realized that our bank account's starting to starve too so we both agreed to STOP eating burgers, cheesecakes and all that gooooood stuff! It's so hard though, but it's a sacrifice we have to make if we want to keep our wallets fat and at the same time, stay healthy.

When the rest of the family decide to go grocery shopping, expect Jorge and I to always NOT go with them because, well, I'll be honest, I don't really like going to Superstore unless I really have to. Since my sisters are so used to taking care of that grocery shopping list, Jorge and I decided to just go somewhere today while my sisters were in Superstore. We went to Black Street and we climbed its stairs.

So yesterday, on a Sunday, I was itching to get out of the house so I went out to go exploring and as usual, I went on my own. I live in Riverdale now so I wanted to check out the trails around the area. Jorge and I went hiking near our place last September so I decided to revisit the place yesterday and I discovered new places too.
